NOX 2027 Padel Racket Range Explained

NOX have changed the names, not the formula. The AT10 and EA10 labels are gone for 2027, so Agustín Tapia's racket is now just the Genius and Edu Alonso's is the Ventus Hybrid. Underneath, this is the most complete range NOX have put out: 15 rackets across five families, from the Equation up to the Genius.

This is every NOX 2027 racket we stock, family by family. What changed, the pros and cons of each one, who it suits and who should skip it. No filler models, and no marketing lines we can't back up on court.

What changed for 2027

  • AT10 and EA10 are gone. Genius, Ventus, Pro Cup, ML10 and Equation are the family names now. The moulds carry on and have been refined rather than replaced.
  • VCS anti-vibration. An elastomer layer bonded inside the handle of every Genius and Ventus racket. NOX say it cuts the impact reaching your wrist by a big margin over last year. On court it reads as a quieter, more muted feel on mishits, not a softer racket.
  • Oversize Grip on the Attack models. The Genius Attack and Ventus Attack get a handle 30mm longer than standard. Room for a two-handed backhand, and more weight pushed towards the head for the smash.
  • Weight Balance. Genius and Ventus take 2g and 4g counterweights, up to 8g, so you can shift the balance towards the head or the handle. The counterweights come in the box, and you can buy spares if you lose them.
  • Two Lite rackets. The Genius 12K Xtrem Lite and Ventus 12K Hybrid Lite sit at 350 to 360g. Proper carbon rackets for lighter players, not cut-down frames.
  • Faces. 18K Alum is the friendlier carbon face, 12K Alum Xtrem is the stiffer, crisper one. Dual Spin (3D texture plus silica sand) on the carbon rackets, a sectorised Exclusive Spin on the Pro Cup, and a 3D texture on the Equation.

If you just want the new NOX, start with how you play. Do you finish points at the net, build them from the back, or want one racket that does both?

NOX Genius 2027

The Genius is Agustín Tapia's racket and the top of the NOX range. Five versions for 2027: two teardrops, two diamond Attacks and a Lite. Pick the face first (18K is friendlier, 12K Xtrem is crisper), then the shape.

NOX Genius 18K Alum 2027

NOX Genius 18K Alum Agustín Tapia: the 2027 version of the AT10 Genius 18K, which was one of our best sellers last season. Teardrop, medium feel, 18K aluminised carbon faces over an MLD Black EVA core, 360 to 375g.

NOX Genius 18K Alum Agustín Tapia padel racket 2027

It does a bit of everything very well. Enough weight through the ball on the smash, enough touch to take pace off in defence, and the 18K face stays consistent whether it's a cold January night or a sweaty August afternoon. New for 2027 are VCS anti-vibration and a reworked EOS Tunnel for a cleaner swing.

  • Pros: forgiving for a top-end racket, power and control in balance, consistent feel in any temperature.
  • Cons: not the sharpest face in the family, 360 to 375g is a proper swing weight.
  • Best for: strong intermediates and advanced all-rounders who want one racket for attack and defence.
  • Skip if: you mostly attack from the net (Genius Attack 18K) or want a crisper face (Genius 12K Xtrem).

NOX Genius 12K Alum Xtrem 2027

NOX Genius 12K Alum Xtrem Agustín Tapia: same teardrop and core as the 18K, but the 12K Alum Xtrem face uses a tight rectangular weave that NOX say halves the waviness in the fibres. In plain terms it's stiffer and more direct.

NOX Genius 12K Alum Xtrem Agustín Tapia padel racket 2027

Hit it clean and the ball leaves with real pace and very little lag. Hit it late and it tells you. The refined mould is a touch more aerodynamic and sits better in the hand than last year's.

  • Pros: crisp, precise response, serious pace when you middle it, better balanced mould than 2026.
  • Cons: less forgiving than the 18K, medium-hard feel isn't for sore arms.
  • Best for: advanced players with clean technique who want an accurate teardrop with the power to finish.
  • Skip if: you want comfort before precision. The 18K does the same job with more margin.

NOX Genius Attack 18K Alum 2027

NOX Genius Attack 18K Alum Agustín Tapia: diamond shape, high balance, 18K Alum face. The Genius for players who finish points from the net.

NOX Genius Attack 18K Alum Agustín Tapia padel racket 2027

The Oversize Grip adds 30mm to the handle, which helps on two-handed backhands and pushes weight towards the head so smashes and viboras carry more inertia. Because it keeps the 18K face and MLD Black EVA core, it's more forgiving than most attack rackets at this level.

  • Pros: easy power overhead, the friendliest attack racket in the range, long grip for two-handers.
  • Cons: head-heavy in defence, the long handle takes a few sessions to settle.
  • Best for: attacking intermediates and advanced players who like the Genius feel but want more punch.
  • Skip if: you defend a lot from the back. The standard Genius 18K is the better fit.

NOX Genius Attack 12K Alum Xtrem 2027

NOX Genius Attack 12K Alum Xtrem Agustín Tapia: the most aggressive racket NOX make. Diamond, high balance, Oversize Grip and the stiff 12K Alum Xtrem face. Built to end points and not much else.

NOX Genius Attack 12K Alum Xtrem Agustín Tapia padel racket 2027

Dual Spin gives it bite on the kick smash, the MLD Black EVA core keeps a little touch on slower shots, and VCS takes the sting out of the big hits. It gives very little back if your timing is off.

  • Pros: maximum power and spin overhead, firm, direct response, aerodynamic mould through fast swings.
  • Cons: unforgiving off-centre, demanding in defence, not a comfort racket.
  • Best for: advanced attackers with good technique who want maximum power.
  • Skip if: you want attacking power with more margin. The Attack 18K is the kinder choice.

NOX Genius 12K Alum Xtrem Lite 2027

NOX Genius 12K Alum Xtrem Lite Agustín Tapia: the lightest and quickest racket in the Genius family. Same teardrop and premium 12K Alum Xtrem face as the full-weight version, but a soft HR3 White EVA core and 350 to 360g.

NOX Genius 12K Alum Xtrem Lite Agustín Tapia padel racket 2027

Don't think of it as a watered-down Genius. It's fast at the net, comfortable on the arm and very controllable, and the ball sits on the face a fraction longer than on the MLD core rackets. Weight Balance is there if you want more head weight later.

  • Pros: quick and easy to move, soft, comfortable feel, the same 12K face as the full-weight Genius.
  • Cons: less raw power than the heavier Genius rackets, the soft core won't suit players who want a crisp feel.
  • Best for: improving and advanced players who want top-spec carbon in a lighter, softer racket, including many women players.
  • Skip if: you want maximum power. The heavier Genius rackets hit harder.

NOX Ventus 2027

Ventus is the family we wish more people asked about. Three for 2027: Edu Alonso's hybrid, Aimar Goñi's attack and a Lite. All 12K carbon, all with VCS and Weight Balance, and a step below the Genius on price without feeling like a step down on court.

NOX Ventus Hybrid 12K Xtrem 2027

NOX Ventus Hybrid 12K Xtrem Edu Alonso: the 2027 version of the EA10 Ventus Hybrid. Teardrop, balanced, 360 to 375g, 12K Alum Xtrem faces over an MLD Black EVA core, on a redesigned mould for more stability through the hit.

NOX Ventus Hybrid 12K Xtrem Edu Alonso padel racket 2027

It was our pick of the underrated rackets last year for a reason. Nothing extreme, everything done well: solid and precise on the volley, decent power overhead, easy ball exit in defence. The most versatile of the two 12K Xtrem Ventus rackets.

  • Pros: properly all-round, stable, precise face, premium build below Genius money.
  • Cons: medium-hard feel, doesn't excel in any one area if you want a specialist.
  • Best for: intermediate and advanced players who want one racket that does everything.
  • Skip if: you mainly attack and want more head weight. Step up to the Ventus Attack.

NOX Ventus Attack 12K Xtrem 2027

NOX Ventus Attack 12K Xtrem Aimar Goñi: the follow-up to the EA10 Ventus Attack. Diamond, high balance, medium-hard, with the Oversize Grip 30mm longer than standard.

NOX Ventus Attack 12K Xtrem Aimar Goñi padel racket 2027

The weight is up in the head where it does damage overhead, and the 12K Alum Xtrem face mixes rectangular and square weaves for a stiff, crisp hitting surface. VCS and Dual Spin as on the Genius.

  • Pros: big power on the smash and vibora, stiff, crisp face, long handle for two-handers.
  • Cons: needs good technique, heavy in the head for defence.
  • Best for: confident, attacking players with good technique.
  • Skip if: you want the same build with more control and a friendlier sweet spot. That's the Ventus Hybrid.

NOX Ventus 12K Hybrid Lite 2027

NOX Ventus 12K Hybrid Lite: the lightest and quickest racket in the Ventus family at 350 to 360g. Teardrop, medium balance, 12K carbon faces and a dual-density MLD Black EVA core: easy ball exit on slower shots, proper power on the smash.

NOX Ventus 12K Hybrid Lite padel racket 2027

For lighter players, women and anyone who finds 365g+ hard work late in a match, but who still wants a real 12K carbon racket rather than a beginner frame. VCS and Weight Balance are both on it.

  • Pros: easy to move and easy on the arm, a real carbon build at a lower weight, tunable with Weight Balance.
  • Cons: less weight behind the ball than the Hybrid Xtrem, firm 12K faces.
  • Best for: lighter intermediate and advanced players who want a 12K all-rounder.
  • Skip if: you want more weight and stiffness behind the ball. The Ventus Hybrid 12K Xtrem is the step up.

NOX Pro Cup 2027

The Pro Cup mould is one of the most famous in padel. For 2027 it's Tapia's name on it, with aluminised fibreglass faces on a carbon frame and your choice of core.

NOX Pro Cup Hard 2027

NOX Pro Cup Hard Agustín Tapia: teardrop, HR3 Hard EVA core, aluminised fibreglass faces, carbon frame. Medium-hard, balanced, plenty of control.

NOX Pro Cup Hard Agustín Tapia padel racket 2027

The carbon frame stiffens the fibreglass faces so it never feels mushy, the sectorised Exclusive Spin finish puts work on the ball, and Pulse System anti-vibration plus the EOS Flap round it off. The dependable all-rounder in the NOX range.

  • Pros: control and consistency, firm but not harsh, the classic Pro Cup mould.
  • Cons: fibreglass faces don't have the carbon punch, 360 to 375g.
  • Best for: improving and club players who want a dependable all-rounder with a firmer response.
  • Skip if: your arm doesn't love a hard racket (Pro Cup Soft), or you're ready for carbon (Genius 18K).

NOX Pro Cup Soft 2027

NOX Pro Cup Soft Agustín Tapia: same mould, same faces, HR3 Soft EVA core. The soft core gives easy power and a forgiving, comfortable strike, and the carbon frame keeps it stable.

NOX Pro Cup Soft Agustín Tapia padel racket 2027

Who it's for is simple: anyone who wants comfort and easy power, and anyone whose elbow has opinions.

  • Pros: comfortable, easy power, forgiving sweet spot.
  • Cons: softer feel means less precision than the Hard, still 360 to 375g.
  • Best for: improving and club players who want comfort and easy power.
  • Skip if: you want a firmer, more precise feel. That's the Pro Cup Hard.

NOX ML10 Pro Cup 2027

Miguel Lamperti's Pro Cup is still a benchmark control racket. Round shape, big sweet spot, soft HR3 EVA core and aluminised fibreglass faces on a carbon frame. Three versions for 2027, and the difference is the face finish and the weight.

NOX ML10 Pro Cup Coorp 2027

NOX ML10 Pro Cup Coorp Miguel Lamperti: smooth faces, 360 to 375g, and a design that pays tribute to Lamperti's original. Easy to place the ball, forgiving off-centre and comfortable on the arm.

NOX ML10 Pro Cup Coorp Miguel Lamperti padel racket 2027
  • Pros: big sweet spot, clean, classic feel, comfortable.
  • Cons: smooth faces mean less spin, not a power racket.
  • Best for: players who build points with placement, from improvers to experienced club players who love a round racket.
  • Skip if: you like slicing and spinning the ball (ML10 Rough) or want more power (Pro Cup Soft or Genius).

NOX ML10 Pro Cup Rough 2027

NOX ML10 Pro Cup Rough Miguel Lamperti: the same racket with a textured surface for extra spin. Our pick of the three if you slice and spin.

NOX ML10 Pro Cup Rough Miguel Lamperti padel racket 2027
  • Pros: same comfort, more grip on the ball, big sweet spot.
  • Cons: 360 to 375g, still a control racket, not a power one.
  • Best for: control players who use slice and topspin.
  • Skip if: you want a lighter swing. That's the ML10 Silver.

NOX ML10 Pro Cup Silver 2027

NOX ML10 Pro Cup Silver Miguel Lamperti: the lighter version at 350 to 365g with smooth faces. The Pro Cup feel in a quicker racket for players who find 365g+ hard work.

NOX ML10 Pro Cup Silver Miguel Lamperti padel racket 2027
  • Pros: quick through the air, comfortable, same big sweet spot.
  • Cons: less weight behind the ball, smooth faces.
  • Best for: lighter players who want the Pro Cup control feel.
  • Skip if: you want spin (ML10 Rough) or power (a teardrop).

NOX Equation 2027

The Equation is where most people should start with NOX if they're stepping up from a beginner racket. Round, 355 to 365g, carbon frame, 3K fibreglass faces with a 3D texture, and two cores.

NOX Equation Hard Advanced 2027

NOX Equation Hard Advanced: the HR3 Hard EVA core gives a comfortable medium-hard feel with a more precise response. Easy to move, forgiving, and the anti-vibration system takes the sting out of mishits.

NOX Equation Hard Advanced padel racket 2027
  • Pros: one of the best-value rackets NOX make, precise for a round racket, easy to swing.
  • Cons: fibreglass faces, limited power, no Weight Balance.
  • Best for: improving players who play regularly and want a step up from a beginner racket without losing control.
  • Skip if: you want more comfort and easier power. The Equation Soft is the same racket with a softer core.

NOX Equation Soft Advanced 2027

NOX Equation Soft Advanced: same racket, HR3 Soft EVA core, a highly comfortable medium feel. The easiest NOX to live with.

NOX Equation Soft Advanced padel racket 2027
  • Pros: comfortable, forgiving, great value.
  • Cons: softer response is less precise, limited power.
  • Best for: improving players who want comfort first.
  • Skip if: you want a firmer, more precise feel (Equation Hard), or you'll outgrow it quickly (Pro Cup).
