The details
The Softee Transparent Padel Protector is a clear adhesive strip that sticks along the top of your racket frame, the bit that takes the knocks when you scrape the glass, clip the floor or drop the racket between points. It's a cheap way to stop chips and scratches turning into cracks, and to keep a new racket looking new for longer.
It's made from a tough, high-adhesion synthetic film that's 0.35mm to 0.40mm thick, so it's light enough that you won't notice any change in balance or feel. The strip is flexible enough to follow the curve of the frame and goes on without bubbles or creases if you take your time. It's transparent with a small black Softee logo, so your racket's graphics still show through.
To fit it, clean and dry the top of the frame, peel the backing off gradually and press it down from the centre outwards. Sold as a single protector.
