CORK

Handmade in Portugal

Real cork in the face, the frame and the anti-vibration system. Every Cork racket is made by hand, no two look the same, and they feel unlike anything else we sell.

Why cork?

It feels different.
On purpose.

Cork started when its founders, struggling with arm pain from vibration, began experimenting with natural cork. Cork says it absorbs vibration, softens impact and gives a feel you won't get from a standard foam-and-carbon racket: more muted, more comfortable, with a naturally grippy face.

  • Natural cork in the face, sides and anti-vibration system
  • Handmade, with every hole finished by hand
  • Cork is harvested without cutting down trees
  • Still stiff and powerful at the top end of the range

Cork vs a standard racket

FeelMuted

Cork says the cork absorbs vibration and softens impact, so the ball feels cushioned rather than buzzy.

FaceGrippy

A natural cork texture on the face that Cork says improves grip on the ball.

BuildBy hand

Cork UK says each racket takes a week to craft. Every one looks slightly different.

Everything Cork

Is a cork racket good for tennis elbow?
Cork designs its rackets for players who want to reduce arm strain, and says the cork absorbs vibration. Many players find them comfortable, but if you've got an injury, check with a physio too.
How is a Cork racket different from a normal one?
It uses natural cork in the face, sides and anti-vibration system instead of only foam and carbon. Cork says that gives a more muted, comfortable feel and a grippy face.
Why are Cork rackets more expensive?
They're handmade in Portugal, with every hole finished by hand. Cork UK says each racket takes around a week to craft.
Are Cork rackets only for comfort, or can they hit hard?
Both. The Classic and Premium are comfortable and forgiving, while the Supreme and Extreme are stiff and powerful for advanced players.
Which Cork should I choose?
Classic II if you're newer, Premium III if you play weekly, Supreme IV if you're advanced, and Extreme II if you play at a high level. Message us and we'll help.

About Cork padel

Cork is a Portuguese padel brand whose rackets are handmade in Fátima. It grew out of its founders' frustration with arm pain from vibration, which led them to experiment with natural cork. The first prototypes came in 2012 and Cork launched in 2016. It now sells in 52 countries.

The range runs from the Classic for newer players through Premium and Supreme to the pro-level Extreme, with most tiers available in Control, Hybrid and Power shapes.
