More brands

Which Babolat is best for beginners?
An Origin: the Air Origin (teardrop) or Counter Origin (round). Both are light, soft and forgiving. Playing every week already? Go for a Vertuo.
What's the difference between Viper and Viper Soft?
Same shape and attacking design. The Soft version has a softer carbon face, so it's more comfortable and easier on the arm, with a bit less raw punch.
Which Babolat is best for tennis elbow?
Go soft and light: an Origin, a Vertuo or a Viper Soft. Every 2026 Babolat has Vibrabsorb to cut vibration, but a softer face makes the biggest difference. If it's a medical issue, check with a physio too.
What does Juan Lebrón play?
His signature Babolat Viper Juan Lebrón 3.1 for 2027, a diamond-shaped, head-heavy power racket.
Should I buy the 2025 or 2026 model?
Last season's models are often discounted and still play well. The 2026 range adds updated faces and the Dynamic Stability System. Message us and we'll tell you honestly if the difference matters for your game.

About Babolat padel

Babolat is the oldest racket sports company in the world, founded in Lyon in 1875 by Pierre Babolat, who made the first natural gut strings for tennis. Still run by the Babolat family, the company moved into racquets in the 1990s and made its first padel racket in 2001.

Today Babolat's padel range is built around three play styles: Technical for attackers, Air for speed and Counter for control, each in versions from the beginner-friendly Origin to the tournament-level Viper, plus the Dyna and Stima women's ranges. Juan Lebrón has been the face of Babolat padel since 2016.

At NINEPADEL we stock a wide Babolat range in the UK with next-day delivery, and we're happy to help you choose on WhatsApp or in person at our shop inside Padel54.
