The Babolat Viper Juan Lebrón 3.0 Blue Depths is Lebrón's own attacking weapon in Babolat's newer navy and lime colourway. It plays the same as the orange Viper 3.0, with a diamond shape, head-heavy balance and a full 3K carbon face over a Hard EVA core. It's built to hit hard, and it does: smashes come off fast and heavy, and volleys at the net come out sharp.
The Dynamic Stability System is a reinforced bar through the heart of the racket. It keeps the frame from twisting on big swings and off-centre hits. The raised 3D Spin pattern on the face grips the ball for viboras, kick smashes and slice. At 370g (±10) with a 38mm profile it's solid in the hand, and the Smart Buttcap lets you resize the wrist strap or take it off.
Our honest take: this is a racket for strong, attacking players who already have the technique to control a firm, head-heavy frame. If that's you, it's one of the most powerful rackets around. If you've had elbow trouble, or you want more comfort and a bigger sweet spot, look at the Veron Juan Lebrón 3.0 instead. You keep the diamond power with a much softer feel. Want the bag to match?
