Sweet spot slightly higher than a round. Bit more reach, still easy to control.

Is it your racket?
We'd rather you buy the right one than this one.
You'll love it if
- you want one racket that attacks and defends
- you liked the AT10 Genius and want the 2027 version
- you like to tune balance with counterweights
Maybe not if
- you're a beginner, a round, softer racket is kinder
- you want maximum power, the Genius Attack 18K is more head-heavy
The NOX Genius 18K Alum 2027 is Agustín Tapia's racket for the new season, and the 2027 version of the AT10 Genius 18K that's been one of our best sellers. NOX have dropped the AT10 name this year, not the formula: it's still the top end of NOX's range, with a teardrop shape, a medium feel and an 18K aluminised carbon face that stays consistent whether it's a cold night in January or a sweaty August afternoon.
On court it does a bit of everything very well. The MLD Black EVA core gives you real weight on smashes and still lets you take pace off in defence, and the Dual Spin face (3D texture plus silica sand) grips the ball for slice and topspin. New for 2027 is the VCS anti-vibration system, which NOX says cuts wrist impact by up to 56%, plus a reworked EOS Tunnel for a cleaner swing.
Who it's for: strong intermediates and advanced all-rounders who want one racket for attack and defence. You can fine-tune it too, with 2g and 4g counterweights (up to 8g) in the Weight Balance system.
Our honest take: the safest pick in the Genius family and the one we'd point most club players towards. If you mostly attack from the net, the Genius Attack 18K gives you more head weight. If you hit hard and want a crisper, more precise face, look at the 12K Alum XTREM.
