The NOX Genius 12K Alum XTREM Lite 2027 is the follow-on to last year's AT10 Genius 12K Xtrem Lite (NOX have dropped the AT10 name for 2027). It's part of NOX's top-end Genius family and the lightest, quickest racket in it, at 350 to 360g. Same teardrop shape and premium 12K Alum XTREM carbon face as the full-weight version, with a redesigned mould for easier handling.
The big difference is the core. A soft HR3 White EVA gives a comfortable feel and lots of control, so the ball sits on the face a fraction longer. Add VCS anti-vibration and it's one of the kindest high-end rackets NOX make. The Weight Balance system still lets you add counterweights if you want a bit more head weight.
Who it's for: improving and advanced players who want top-spec carbon in a lighter, softer racket, including many women players and anyone whose arm prefers less weight.
Our honest take: don't think of it as a watered-down Genius. It's fast at the net, comfortable and very controllable. If you want maximum power, the heavier Genius rackets will hit harder, but for a lot of club players this is the better racket.
