Is it your racket?
We'd rather you buy the right one than this one.
You'll love it if
- you want one racket that attacks and defends
- you liked the EA10 Ventus Hybrid and want the 2027 version
- you like a firm, precise feel with spin
Maybe not if
- you're a beginner, a round, softer racket is kinder
- you want maximum power, look at the Ventus Attack 12K Xtrem
- you prefer a soft, cushioned feel
The NOX Ventus Hybrid 12K Xtrem 2027 is Edu Alonso's racket for the new season, the 2027 version of the EA10 Ventus Hybrid. It sits in the sweet spot of the Ventus range: a teardrop shape with a balanced weight distribution, built on a redesigned mould for more control and stability through the hit.
The faces are 12K Alum XTREM carbon with an exclusive weave that stiffens the surface and spreads energy more evenly, so you get a solid, precise response without the racket feeling dead. Underneath, the MLD Black EVA core helps the ball come off in defence and still gives you real power on the smash.
New for 2027 is the VCS anti-vibration system, an elastomer layer bonded inside the handle that NOX say reduces wrist impact by up to 56% over the previous model. You also get the Dual Spin face (3D texture plus silica sand) for spin, and the Weight Balance system, which takes 2g and 4g counterweights (up to 8g) to shift the balance towards the head or handle.
Our honest take: the most versatile of the 12K Xtrem Ventus pair and the one most club players will get on with. If you mainly attack and want more head weight, step up to the Ventus Attack 12K Xtrem.
