Babolat have cemented themselves as one of the biggest names in padel. That's partly the pros they work with, but mostly because their rackets have a really clear identity. Whether you finish points at the net, play quick and aggressive, or sit back and counter all day, there's a Babolat built for it.
The Babolat padel range for 2026 is mostly a continuation of what worked in 2025. Same proven lines, same racket personalities, and that familiar feel across the Viper, Veron and Vertuo families. The changes are refinements and a few additions rather than a total overhaul. Honestly, that's a good thing, because the 2025 range was already seriously strong.
Below we break down the full Babolat 2026 line-up, what each model is made for, and who it suits best.
Babolat Lebrón editions
The Juan Lebrón edition range (Lebrón Viper, Viper Soft and Lebrón Veron) is Babolat's most "Lebrón" line-up. These are power-first, aggressive rackets for players who take the ball early, press the net and finish points hard.
Performance-wise they follow the same DNA as the standard models. You get them in Lebrón's signature colourways with a more premium, standout finish, so they look as serious as they play.
Babolat Lebrón Viper 2026 3.0
The Babolat Viper Juan Lebrón 3.0 is as powerful, head-heavy and all-out aggressive as they come. Not for the faint-hearted, and not for beginners.

It also comes in a Blue Depths colourway.

Babolat Lebrón Viper Soft 2026 3.0
A really interesting new addition for 2026: the aggressive Viper characteristics with a softer, more forgiving face. Still very powerful, but much more playable. Highly recommended.

Babolat Lebrón Veron 2026 3.0
A well-rounded aggressive racket that adds much more control than the Viper. Highly playable, and probably the racket most people should be heading towards in the Lebrón range.

The 2027 Lebrón 3.1 versions
The 3.1 versions of the Lebrón rackets have also landed. First up, the Viper Juan Lebrón 3.1.

Then the Viper Soft Juan Lebrón 3.1.

And the Veron Juan Lebrón 3.1.

Babolat Technical editions
These rackets are built for players whose game is based on aggression and power. Generally less forgiving, with smaller sweet spots, but a whole pile of punch when you want it.
Babolat Technical Viper 2026 3.0
The Babolat Technical Viper 3.0 is a very slightly lighter Lebrón Viper with just as much power. Think hard face, aggressive diamond shape and all-out attack. For advanced players who want to put the ball away every time.

Babolat Technical Viper Soft 2026 3.0
Aggressive in nature, but with a softer, more playable and forgiving face. Everything people love about the Viper, delivered in an easier-to-handle package. We think the Technical Viper Soft will be one of the most popular Babolat rackets of 2026.

Babolat Technical Veron 2026 3.0
Another one that will be hugely popular. The Technical Veron 3.0 is a slightly more forgiving and manoeuvrable take on the Technical range. Still plenty of power for aggressive players, in a more playable package.

Babolat Air editions
The Babolat Air range is all about speed. Highly manoeuvrable rackets you can throw around to finish points quickly. Don't let the lighter weights fool you: these rackets still have an unreal amount of punch.
Babolat Air Viper 2026 2.6
Maximum power, maximum manoeuvrability. The Babolat Air Viper 2.6 is great for intermediate and above players. Its light weight and hard face generate easy power, which makes it a bit of a cheat code when your technique drops late in games. Easy in defence, strong in attack.

Babolat Air Veron 2026 2.6
Similar to the Air Viper, but the Air Veron 2.6 has a slightly softer, more forgiving face. Expect a bit more control and a little less power, with the same speed around the court. Very easy in defence.

Babolat Air Vertuo 2026 2.6
Even more handling and control than the Veron and Viper. The Air Vertuo 2.6 is slightly lighter again, which makes it ideal for beginners and lower intermediates working on their game. It's very easy to use, easy in defence and puts no stress on your body.

Babolat Counter editions
The Babolat Counter range is all about control. Think strong defence, power when you need it and precision in your shots. A good mix of power and control.
Babolat Counter Viper 2026 2.6
The most powerful of the Counter range, with a 3K carbon finish but plenty of precision. The Counter Viper 2.6 suits strong intermediates who play on strategy and placement rather than all-out Ale Galán power smashes.

Babolat Counter Veron 2026 2.6
A similar style to the Counter Viper, but the Counter Veron 2.6 has a Carbon Flex face for a more balanced, playable feel. Much more user-friendly and safe for intermediate to advanced players.

Babolat Counter Vertuo 2026 2.6
The Counter Vertuo 2.6 is a little lighter and the most beginner-friendly racket in the Counter range.

Which Babolat suits you
| Range | Built for | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Lebrón editions | Power-first attack, signature finish | Aggressive intermediate to advanced players |
| Technical editions | Aggression and power, smaller sweet spot | Advanced players who finish at the net |
| Air editions | Speed and manoeuvrability | Beginners (Vertuo) to intermediate and above (Viper) |
| Counter editions | Control and precision | Players who win on placement |
The bottom line
Babolat's 2026 range sticks with what worked and refines it. Attackers should start with the Viper, most players will be happier with a Veron, and the Air and Counter lines cover speed and control.
