BabolatPadel racket · 2026Air Vertuo 2.6

The Babolat Air Vertuo 2.6 is made for players who want that modern “Air range” feeling, fast in the hand, easy to swing, and comfortable even when matches get long. It’s one of those rackets that helps you play quicker padel without needing perfect technique to make it work.

The big story here is the fibreglass face, which uses the elasticity of the surface to give you easy power with a softer, friendlier contact. That means you still get punch on volleys and overheads, but with a more forgiving feel, especially useful if you’re still building your confidence with aggressive shots.

The lightweight build (345g ±10) makes it super agile at the net, so quick reaction volleys feel natural and you can get the racket into position earlier. Add in the teardrop shape and even balance, and you get a frame that can attack and defend without demanding loads from your arm.

You’ve also got 3D Spin raised patterns on the face for extra bite on spin shots, the Holes Pattern System for more consistent shots, plus Vibrabsorb System, Powered by SMAC vibration absorption to reduce impact and help protect your wrist and elbow. It’s a really solid pick for beginner to intermediate players who want to play more aggressive padel but still want comfort and easy handling.
