Is it your racket?
We'd rather you buy the right one than this one.
You'll love it if
- you play a patient game and counter attack when it's on
- you want a big sweet spot for defending under pressure
- you want something easier on the arm than stiff full carbon
Maybe not if
- you want pure power from the back, try a diamond shape
The Babolat Counter Veron 2.6 2026 is made for players who win points through patience, control, and smart counter attacking. If your style is about staying solid in defence, resetting the rally, then stepping in at the right time, this racket fits perfectly.
Its round shape is all about reliability. You get a generous sweet spot and a stable response, which really helps in real match situations, especially when you’re defending deep, blocking at the net, or returning fast balls under pressure. The racket stays controlled even when contact isn’t perfect.
The key feature is Babolat’s Carbon Flex surface, blending carbon and fibreglass to create a feel that’s lively but forgiving. You’ll notice it’s easier on the arm than stiffer full-carbon models, while still giving you enough pace to attack short balls and finish points when you move forward. Combined with the EVA core and optimised hole pattern, it’s a great all-round option for intermediate and advanced players who want more confidence and consistency, without losing the ability to play aggressive when it matters.
