Babolat and Automobili Lamborghini have been building rackets together since 2024. The BL.002 is the second chapter: designed in Spain, inspired by Sant'Agata Bolognese, Lamborghini's home town, and finished in two new colours. This is the Orange, the colour most people picture when they hear the name.
Supercar tech, not just a badge
The headline is Koridion, a patented rigid foam inspired by the bonnets on Lamborghini's cars. It sits between the carbon frame and the EVA core and stiffens the whole structure, so you get more stability, more energy back into the ball and less shock up your arm.
The face is 3K carbon over a medium-density Multi-EVA core, for a fast, direct response. Babolat's Power On Demand idea runs through it: controlled while you build the point, explosive when you decide to finish it. TPS, developed at Babolat's padel studio, reinforces the surface against knocks and scrapes so it stays looking the part.
How it plays
At 360g with a 265 to 270mm balance, it's a proper attacking racket. The head is isometric, with a centred sweet spot and a reinforced drilling pattern, so it holds its line on off-centre hits better than you'd expect from something this punchy. It's 38mm thick.

It comes in its own zip-up hard case, finished with the Babolat and Automobili Lamborghini badges.
Our honest take: you're paying for the name as well as the racket, and we won't pretend otherwise. But this isn't a sticker job. The Koridion frame and 3K carbon make it a genuine top-end attacking racket, and we've only got five of each colour. If you're an advanced player who wants something nobody else at the club has, this is it. If you want the most performance per pound, Babolat's Viper range plays in a similar way for a lot less.
