The Siux Obsidian Pro is the brand new control racket in the 2027 range, and it takes over from the Trilogy. It's a fresh mould and, unlike the round Trilogy, it's a teardrop, so you get a bit more leverage when the ball sits up to be finished, without giving up the easy handling of a control racket.
Low balance and the biggest sweet spot in the Siux 2027 range (92 cm²) make it forgiving and quick in the hands, which is exactly what you want in fast exchanges at the net and when you're defending off the glass. The 16K carbon faces and Soft EVA core keep the feel comfortable and controlled, and the satin finish with an oblique 3D texture bites the ball for spin and placement.
The Black version plays exactly the same as the Silver: exposed black carbon with the green Obsidian details.
Our honest take: a proper control teardrop for good players who win points with placement rather than brute force. If you loved the Trilogy, this is the obvious next step. If you live for flat smashes out of the court, the Fenix or Electra will suit you better.
