Metalbone or Arrow Hit?
Both are diamond-shaped attacking rackets. Metalbone is the firmer, more powerful one for smashes from the back of the court. Arrow Hit is built around net play, with a sliding weight to tune the balance.
What does CTRL mean?
It's the round, control version of a family. Same technology, but with a bigger sweet spot and lower balance, so it's easier to place the ball.
What does Ale Galán play?
Ale Galán plays the Adidas Metalbone. The Pro EDT is his limited edition.
Is Adidas good for beginners?
Yes. The Match is a soft, forgiving starter, and the Metalbone Team gives you the Metalbone shape with an easier feel.
What's the difference between Metalbone and Metalbone HRD?
HRD has a harder core for more power, but it's less forgiving and firmer on the arm. Standard Metalbone suits more players.

About Adidas padel

Adidas padel rackets are made under licence by All For Padel, based in Madrid, which has run the brand since 2013. Its first signing was Martita Ortega, who went on to become the youngest-ever World Padel Tour number one, and Ale Galán joined in 2018.

The range centres on two attacking families, Metalbone and Arrow Hit, each with a round CTRL version for control, plus starter rackets like the Match.
