The XCALION UNUM M1 Hybrid is designed for players looking for the perfect middle ground between power and control. Its hybrid setup and medium balance make it one of the most versatile rackets in the XCALION range, equally comfortable defending from the back or stepping forward to attack.
Weighing just 323g without the grip or wrist strap, the UNUM M1 is considerably lighter than a traditional padel racket. This makes it exceptionally manoeuvrable, allowing quicker preparation, faster reactions and easier acceleration through the ball.
XCALION’s exclusive monocoque construction uses high-density ALMA carbon, creating a strong and responsive structure despite the extremely low overall weight. This is combined with a single-layer medium/hard Black EVA core, producing a medium, dry and reactive feel with excellent ball output.
The large sweet spot adds forgiveness and confidence during defensive play, while the medium balance provides enough stability and presence through the ball when attacking. Its 3D XC textured surface also adds extra grip on the ball to help generate spin on volleys, slices and overheads.
The low weight is particularly noticeable during fast exchanges at the net, but it also allows you to generate impressive racket speed when attacking. This gives the UNUM M1 considerably more power than you might expect from such a lightweight racket.
Each racket also includes the UNUM Kit, featuring an interchangeable wrist strap, padded grip and overgrip.

The XCALION UNUM M1 Hybrid is probably the easiest racket in the range to recommend to someone who wants a bit of everything. At around 323g it’s still incredibly light and quick through the air, but the medium balance gives it a really nice mix of stability, control and attacking ability.
On court, it has that crisp, reactive XCALION feel, with excellent ball output when defending and plenty of speed when you want to attack. We’d recommend this to an intermediate or advanced player who doesn’t want to commit fully to either a control or power racket. It’s fast, versatile and really easy to manoeuvre, making it a great all-round option for playing across the whole court.

Round head, carbon face, Soft Performance EVA core, sitting at a manageable 345 to 360g with an even balance. On paper it’s a control racket, but there’s more to it than that.
For a control racket it’s not super soft. If anything it’s balanced to slightly hard through the face, and the sweet spot is massive, which makes it seriously playable. Mistime one and it doesn’t punish you. Middle it and you know about it.
Then there’s the weight system. Move the weights higher up the frame and you get more power on your smashes, keep them low and you get more control and manoeuvrability. Set it up how you play.
